As you can see from at least part of my Favorites section, I've fallen in love with some moody imagery that seems to be only attainable through PhotoShop.

I'm thinking I'd like to at least think about getting myself PS - to help me get myself into photography and also to touch up and color correct traditional art.

I know there is a huge range in how much one might spend for PS - up to $900, is it?

What do you all recommend I consider buying? (I'd prefer to avoid a 5 finger discount.)
